Prayer Request for a fellow co-worker.

It started out with family and friends unable to get a hold of Sherry Hampton, 45, of Charlotte, that was last weekend.

Wednesday, Hampton is still missing. Now, police said they have a break in the case, but it hasn't helped them find her yet.

Hampton was supposed to show up for work Monday. Her co-workers have put her picture and phone numbers to call on the door.

Hampton is the branch administrator for a distributing company in Steele Creek called Univar.

Hampton was last seen Saturday night at her home in Steele Creek, when a friend came over to help her hang some blinds.

She also talked to her mom that night, but that's the last anyone's heard from her. On Monday when she didn't show up for work co-workers began trying to reach her by cell phone, but there was no answer and she did not return anyone's calls.

Friends & family suspect foul play

Her family called her office looking for her also and that's when Hampton's adult son called police.

Then on Tuesday, police found her car in the 4900 block of South Tryon.

Her coworkers are certain this is the work of foul play and they have a message for anyone involved.

“Tell us where she's at. Tell us if she's ok or not or just tell us where she's at. Help us find her and bring her home to her family,” said Hampton’s coworker Yvette Bashaw.

There's a reward for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hampton. Anyone with information is asked to call the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
