Taco Eating Frenzie

Tonight was taco night. We opened a box of shells and Jason asked me how many I would like. I told him 3. That left 4 additional ones so he said he was going to go ahead and cook them. So, we had a race....who can eat all 5 tacos the fastest. Of course, I won. Now I ate too much though.

Physical Therapy

I started PT today. I am very excited about it because I'm so ready to get back to normal. I came home sore though. I'll have to work at it.

Prison Break

Yippee, it's on again tonight.

Oh yeah, I just picked my nose too!

My friend Dori invited us to her parents house this weekend to make saurkraut. I love saurkraut and was really looking forward to going. Jason went out shoe shopping since he's playing bball with a bunch of old guys from work. HA HA HA, they are really not old. Anyway, he's been needing a pair for a while. His poor big toe is nothing but a blister. So, I sent him off to hunt for shoes. No way was I going with him. He's shoe picky and I didn't feel like spending 2 - 3 hours in a shoe store. So, I stayed at home and wrote one of my friends from the Pectus forum. I also did laundry, which needed to be done. When Jason got home we decided to just stay indoors and hang out. Maybe next year Dori will invite me over again.....hopefully she doesn't hate me too much!

We finished Indiana Jones, which was STUPID! Then we watched Baby Mama, which was hilarious. I'm still having problems laughing so we watched it in segments. I would laugh, cry in pain, turn the show off and calm down then start it back up again. Ahh, the life of a Pectus surgery patient.

I also got up the nerve the other day to watch a 22 second portion of my surgery. I couldn't find the whole thing but the 22 sec segment showed the chest actually coming up as the turned the bar. VERY COOL. You should check it out. I also found a more in depth one if you are interested in that too. Cool as well.

Beautiful Sight

Jason and I was driving to work on Thursday watching the sunrise. I turned around and couldn't believe my eyes. The sunrise created a rainbow over the mountain. It wasn't even raining. It was amazing. I can't believe we live here.

I've been a very very bad blogger. I have an excuse though..... So, let me catch everyone up on why I have a very good excuse.

Started work on Sept 11th. Boy was it rough. Being off work for 2+ months and then having to go back to work and try to get into the swing of things. Needless to say I didn't do a darned thing while I was off work except lay around and watch TV. So, working my brain was very tiring. I can't remember the last time I had talked so much during the day. Whew, I'm getting tired just thinking about it. Plus, I had to wear a bra for a week. NOT FUN! So, I would come home and get straight into the recliner and watch TV. I was so exhausted at the end of the day.

On Sept 20th it was finally off to our vacation to Seattle that we had planned for almost 1 year. I purchased the tickets for $250.00 last year, what a deal! We had a fabulous time. Very tiring but fabulous. I'll attach some photos at the end.

On Sept 29th it was back to work. I was exhausted and sore from vacation and didn't want to go back to work again. Why can't I just lay at home some more????? HA!

Actually, I'm glad to be back at work. Our busy season it starting to pickup, finally, so now I have things to do during the day. I was given the task of photographer for our Showroom only catalog, which is really cool. The funny part about it though is I needed to photograph trays of ribbon. All the trays were crooked. I cannot take a straight photo because I have scoliosis. Anyway, it gave someone a huge laugh and I was taught how to straighten the photos in paint. I NEVER work in paint and had no idea you can straighten photos in it. I was excited and still laughed that all my photos were crooked. HA!

I'm also still playing around in photoshop. Someone at work wanted me to take her photo and another girls photo and put it into the Berwick Class of 1968 reunion newspaper article. One of the photos went in really nicely, the other one went in ok but it's still funny.
